It was just a fitting option for a hurried visit in Brielle with good value considering price it charged. Enjoyed the powerful shower that helped me refresh after a long day. Make sure to check the breakfast hours ahead of time.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Adequate evening meal. Good breakfast
Poor lighting in the room -- made worse by table lamp-bulb being broken, no replacement available (large fitting) except for "sparbulb" which was too tall to fit in glass lampshade. Swingdoors in corridor too noisy at night, otherwise room was well insulated from outside noise.

Functional, small, friendly good location.
Rooms are quite basic and the lighting is poor, too poor to work at night on my laptop. I ended up taking my lap top to the reception area to work from there. Also the breakfast buffet was not replenished enougth during the busy early morning rush when business travellers are all rushing to get to work. These are small compalints though, basically this is a functional hotel for business travellers. The location, close to Europort and the friendly staff, far out weigh any negatives. Certainly better than a UK Travellodge type experience of comparable price.

Absolutely dismal experience. Outside was littered with cigarette butts, and the staff seemed more interested in their breaks than in providing service. I requested a complimentary upgrade, which woudl ve been the least they could do! What a shame, since the room was decent. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't let those major flaws slide!

Good parking place Quiet rooms
The card key to the room was put out function two times with no in advance warning or notification that I should pay down on my credit. I felt this somewhat unfriendly and bothersome. Even being single I was double charged for breakfast and tax for 9 of my 14 days of stay at the hotel. The hotel have promissed to pay me back.

Very handy for Europort, free internet, good breakfast, restaurant open until 11pm.
Noisy doors in the corridor, busy parking

The bastion hotel was great for my short stay. The comfort king room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the coffee machine in the room, and the water bottle was a nice touch. It's close to the historical area, just a 2-minute walk away. The reception super nice team too.

Only the location to the europort was important, the hotel itself was just a base and a bed.
There is nothing not to like really, it's an ok hotel and central to Brielle and the europort.

Location, parking and close proximity to the village. Clean and convenient.

Great reception area with a striking fireplace that adds a cozy vibe. Rooms feature powerful showers.
Housekeeping was seriously lacking. I stayed 8 days with my room cleaned only twice, and garbage was left for three days. The beds feel worn out, particularly the singles, not the best for comfort, and the thin walls gave me a front row seat to every conversation in the hallway.

It was just a prime choice for a fleeting trip in Brielle with excellent value for money. The room was clean, but the fire alarm ringing at 3am did disrupt my sleep. Avoid the revolving door. It can be tricky to navigate.

Location: the hotel was so close to citycentre of Brielle, Europoort, and the wonderful downtown of Brielle in five Minutes. The breakfast was very very good with yoghurts or cereals, worth the price...

Chur, the room was comfy and the staff were heaps friendly! But the bathroom was a bit cramped, especially the sink area. Still, had a good sleep, sweet as!
